A batch of modern medical equipment from Pakistan has arrived at the Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Technical School in Jizzakh. This grant aid is expected to elevate student training to a new level and bring education closer to international standards.

The equipment transfer resulted from negotiations between the Uzbek embassy and the Pakistani company Stahlmann Pro, a manufacturer of medical devices. Under the agreement, 10 types of equipment were provided free of charge for educational purposes.

The devices meet high international standards and are supplied to markets in the US and Europe. Students will be able to practice skills on a modern base and learn to work with technologies used in leading clinics.

Additionally, a simulation center for surgery and dentistry is planned to be established at the technical school. Here, future specialists can practice practical skills, simulate real clinical situations without risk to patients, and prepare for real-world work.

The initiative is part of Uzbekistan-Pakistan cooperation in healthcare and medical education, aimed at modernizing educational institutions and improving the quality of specialist training.

Earlier, Japan allocated over $66,000 for medical equipment for the Phthisiology Center in Karakalpakstan.
