Uzbekistan's export volume in the first quarter of 2023 reached $5.8 billion, according to the National Statistics Committee. Russia remained the largest trading partner, with exports totaling $1.1 billion.

China ranked second with $641.7 million, followed by Afghanistan with $443.6 million. Other top destinations include France, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

The geographic distribution highlights Uzbekistan's reliance on neighboring countries and traditional large partners outside the region.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry previously identified Afghanistan as a promising market. If current trends continue, exports to Afghanistan could exceed $500 million in the near future.
