On May 29, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Astana on a working visit, according to the presidential press service.

At the capital's airport, the head of state was greeted by Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and other officials.

According to the program, the leader of Uzbekistan will participate in the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council as the head of an observer state.

The summit agenda includes issues of further expanding multilateral cooperation within the organization. Priority areas of practical interaction will also be considered.
