Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. Uzbek wrestlers competing in Greco-Roman and women's wrestling at the Asian U17 Wrestling Championships have secured five medals and claimed second place in the team standings.

The Asian U17 Championships are ongoing in Vietnam. On the latest competition day, Uzbekistan's representatives delivered a strong performance, adding one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals to the team's tally.

Gold medalist Abdulaziz Kholmirzayev won in the 80 kg weight category. Sardor Makhmudov took silver in the 65 kg category. Bronze medals were awarded to Kodirjon Fozilov (71 kg), Zaytuna Saparova (40 kg), and Siysagul Sarsenbayeva (61 kg).

In the final team standings, Uzbekistan's Greco-Roman wrestling team accumulated 161 points, finishing second behind Iran.

Earlier, Uzbekistan's junior judo team won the Asian Cup team standings with a total of 39 medals.
