In the first four months of 2026, Russia exported 537,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Central Asian countries, Kommersant reports, citing sources.
According to published data, Uzbekistan accounted for 231,000 tons, which is 3.5 times more than in the same period last year.

Russian LPG exports to China reached 498,000 tons, 2.5 times higher than in the first four months of 2025. The increase is attributed to rising domestic prices in China amid reduced maritime LPG imports due to tensions in the Middle East.
According to Uzbekistan's State Statistics Committee, the republic imported natural and artificial gas worth $508.3 million in January-April, up 53.6% compared to the same period last year.
