Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has ordered that national music be played everywhere — in airports, railway stations, the metro, parks, large shopping centers, cafes and restaurants. The corresponding instruction was given at a meeting of the head of state with cultural and art workers.
According to presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov, from September 1, salaries of all employees of song and dance ensembles will be doubled. The dance experience required for retirement will be reduced from 20 to 15 years. For the remaining five years, masters will be able to work as ballet masters, tutors and teachers.
The president proposed building a modern Palace of Dance next to the Makom complex started in New Tashkent. Those responsible have been instructed to develop a large program for the development of dance art.
The system of financing and material incentives for composers and musicians will be completely revised. Every year they will be given a state order to create at least 20 new works in classical and modern genres, including opera and symphonic music.
Earlier, a ceremony was held at the International Congress Center in the capital to present state awards to workers in the fields of culture, art and literature. The president personally presented orders, medals and badges of honorary titles to the laureates.
