President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced a new package of social support measures for cultural and artistic workers during a meeting with industry representatives.

Starting this year, 1,000 poets, writers, cultural figures, museum employees, and artists will receive a 50% subsidy on the down payment for mortgage loans to purchase housing.

Specialists who relocated from other regions will have their rental expenses reimbursed: up to 2.5 million UZS per month in Tashkent and up to 1.6 million UZS per month in other regions.

Annually, 1,000 high-achieving industry workers will be eligible for free medical treatment funded by the State Medical Insurance Fund.

An additional 2,000 creative professionals will receive a state medical insurance package. Employees with at least 10 years of service will get free sanatorium vouchers.

Starting June 15, cultural figures with honorary titles such as "People's Artist", "People's Poet", and "People's Writer" will be allowed free access to VIP lounges at airports and railway stations.
