A fire broke out in a nine-story residential building in Navoi, damaging eight apartments. The incident occurred at 04:19 on Alisher Navoi Street in the Kimyogar mahalla.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the roof of the building caught fire. Seven firefighting units and two aerial ladders arrived at the scene within four minutes. The fire was contained at 04:35 and fully extinguished by 05:35.

All affected apartments were on the top floor. The fire destroyed the roof, ceilings, and interior finishes over an area of 300 square meters. No casualties were reported.

The cause of the fire and the exact damage are being investigated. Earlier, temporary power outages were reported in the Almazar district of Tashkent due to an accident at the Vystavochnaya substation.
