A video circulating on social media showed a young man attempting to jump from a bridge in Andijan, sparking public concern and prompting an investigation by law enforcement.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on the night of June 2 in the "Ishchilar" mahalla of Andijan, on a bridge along Navoi Street. A 19-year-old local resident attempted the dangerous act due to family disputes that left him in an unstable emotional state.

Officers from the investigative-operational group, along with other services, promptly arrived at the scene. Their swift actions prevented a tragedy.

An investigation is currently underway to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, law enforcement officers in Tashkent prevented a suicide attempt by a minor girl.
