The State Assets Management Agency has put up for sale a large office building in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent via the E-auction platform. The property is located near the Mirzo Ulugbek metro station, opposite the Bunyodkor Stadium, at 23 Bunyodkor Avenue.
Currently, the building houses the state-owned company Thermal Power Stations (IES). The nine-story structure, including additional buildings, has an internal area of 7,620 square meters. Together with the surrounding land, the total area amounts to 0.46 hectares.
The building is connected to water supply, sewage, and electricity networks, but lacks gas supply. The starting price is set at 191.53 billion soums (approximately $15.5 million). The auction is scheduled for July 2 at 10:00 AM local time.
The lot is being sold under a Cabinet of Ministers resolution dated March 7, 2025, regarding the privatization of state agency buildings. After the sale, the current occupant must vacate the premises within three years. However, if the administrative building in the New Tashkent city is completed ahead of schedule, the property may be handed over to the buyer earlier.
Previously, Hamkorbank purchased the Ministry of Construction building in central Tashkent for 196 billion soums. Additionally, according to a presidential decree, starting July 1, all state agencies in 15 cities and districts of Uzbekistan will begin moving into a single multi-story building, with vacated properties sold to entrepreneurs via auction.
