A man died after falling into a membrane water reservoir at a farm in Bagdad district, Fergana region, on June 3, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The ministry noted that such accidents involving membrane reservoirs, which are increasingly used in agriculture, have occurred several times recently. Experts say that due to the slippery surface and lack of rescue equipment, a person who falls in cannot get out on their own.
In response, the Ministry of Emergency Situations called on farm owners and officials to strictly follow safety rules, including fencing off reservoirs and placing rescue ropes inside.
