An important cooperation agreement aimed at promoting one of Uzbekistan's largest tourism projects, the Arda Khiva tourism complex, on international markets was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The agreement between Cronwell Development, a leading Russian company in tourism infrastructure management and development, and Ostrovok, Russia's largest online travel aggregator, opens a new stage in the international promotion of the multifunctional Arda Khiva tourism complex located in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan.
This partnership is seen as a practical result of large-scale reforms initiated by the President of Uzbekistan, aimed at modernizing the country's tourism infrastructure, integrating historical and cultural heritage into global tourism routes, and increasing the flow of foreign tourists.
Under the agreement, the parties will jointly work on promoting the Arda Khiva complex in the Russian and other promising markets, developing new tourism products, participating in international exhibitions and forums, and expanding business contacts and partnerships.
The agreement was signed by Alexey Musakin, General Director of Cronwell Development LLC, and Darya Kochetkova, General Director of Bronirovanie Gostinits LLC (Ostrovok). The parties also approved a joint action plan that will serve as a practical roadmap for implementing the planned initiatives.
According to experts, the agreement will help expand Uzbekistan's tourism exports, increase tourist flow from Russia, and further strengthen the international appeal of ancient Khiva as one of the key tourism centers in the region.
Experts note that this partnership opens new opportunities not only for the Arda Khiva complex but also for the entire tourism industry of the Khorezm region and Uzbekistan as a whole. It contributes to broader promotion of the country's rich historical and cultural heritage, modern tourism infrastructure, and open investment policy on the international stage.
