Anvar Anvarov, a representative of the Uzbekistan national athletics team, has won the international Folksam Grand Prix tournament held in Switzerland.
In the long jump competition, Anvarov recorded a result of 8.23 meters, confidently taking first place and significantly outpacing his closest rivals from Norway and Hungary.
The silver medal was won by Norwegian Henrik Flatnes with a jump of 8.03 meters, while the bronze went to Hungarian athlete Kristófer Prist, who jumped 7.79 meters.
Earlier, the Uzbekistan national athletics team performed successfully at the Asian U20 Athletics Championships, winning six medals of various denominations.
