High-level talks have commenced at the Kuksaroy residence in Tashkent between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Albania Bajram Begaj. The Albanian leader is in the country on an official visit.

According to the press service of the Uzbek leader, a guard of honor was formed on the square before the meeting. A military orchestra performed the national anthems of both countries.

The leaders walked along the formation and greeted members of the official delegations. After the ceremony and a joint photo session, the sides began negotiations.

Earlier, it was reported that the presidents would exchange views on topical issues of the international agenda, including mechanisms for mutual support at various multilateral platforms. In addition, as part of his stay, the President of Albania will take part in the anniversary V Tashkent International Investment Forum.
