The level of mobile phone usage in Uzbekistan continues to grow, covering almost the entire population aged 10 and above.

According to sample household surveys by the National Statistics Committee, in 2025, 99.3% of residents aged 10 and older used mobile phones.

Statistics show a steady increase in this indicator over recent years. In 2021, 95.7% of the population used mobile phones, rising to 97.8% in 2022. In 2023, the usage rate reached 99.1%, a figure repeated in 2024. In 2025, the indicator increased to 99.3%.

Thus, over four years, the share of mobile phone users among Uzbekistan's population aged 10 and older grew by 3.6 percentage points — from 95.7% to 99.3% — bringing mobile penetration close to absolute levels.
