Uzbekistan's tourism sector continues to grow rapidly. In the first five months of 2026, the country received 5,351,868 foreign tourists, an increase of 1.1 million (27.3%) compared to the same period in 2025.
The largest number of visitors came from Kyrgyzstan (1,539,503), followed by Kazakhstan (1,246,689) and Tajikistan (1,211,060). Other major source countries include Russia (465,885), Afghanistan (198,910), China (178,121), Turkmenistan (136,997), and Turkey (78,312).
Rounding out the top ten are India (20,807) and Germany (18,291). Notably, tourist arrivals from Russia increased by one-third year-on-year.
