Within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held a meeting with the president of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, John Yovanovich, and the CEO of the US International Development Finance Corporation, Ben Black.
According to the head of the Presidential Administration, the forum is a convenient platform for coordinating plans for the implementation of ongoing projects with Uzbekistan's foreign partners and discussing new areas of cooperation.
During the talks, the parties considered issues of expanding joint projects in the industrial and financial sectors. Special attention was paid to the development of a joint investment platform and the search for new opportunities to deepen economic interaction.
Saida Mirziyoyeva also noted that American partners are interested not only in the country's business opportunities but also in its rich historical and cultural heritage.
"It is gratifying that, in addition to business interests, American partners continue to discover Uzbekistan and never cease to admire the rich history and culture of our country," she emphasized.
