Six citizens of Uzbekistan who found themselves in a difficult financial and social situation in Bulgaria have returned home. The repatriation was organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul and the Migration Agency.

According to the diplomatic mission in Istanbul, necessary organizational, consular-legal and practical measures were taken to bring the compatriots back. Thanks to the support provided, on June 16, the Uzbek citizens were able to return home free of charge and safely reunite with their families.

The consulate noted that such cases are often associated with insufficient verification of employment conditions abroad and trust in dubious job offers.

In this regard, the diplomatic mission and the Migration Agency once again called on citizens to exercise caution when planning labor activities abroad. Before leaving, one should carefully study information about the employer, intermediary organization and terms of the employment contract, as well as execute all necessary documents in accordance with legal requirements.

The authorities emphasize that job searches abroad must be conducted exclusively through official and reliable sources. Ignoring these requirements, as well as leaving without proper documentation, can lead to serious legal, financial and social problems in another country.

Earlier, three minor citizens of Uzbekistan returned from Turkey. Children aged 12, 10 and 9 were subjected to constant physical and psychological pressure from a relative.
