"Given that Uzbekistan plans to create the Tashkent International Financial Center, it is especially valuable for us to study Kazakhstan's practice. I am confident that the exchange of experience will enhance the investment attractiveness not only of our countries but also of the entire Central Asia," Mirziyoyeva noted.
The Astana International Financial Center was established in 2018 based on the EXPO-2017 infrastructure. The center operates on English common law principles, has its own independent court and international arbitration center. Today, AIFC serves as a platform for attracting investments and developing capital markets, fintech, Islamic finance, and other financial areas.
Earlier, Uzbekistan announced plans to create the Tashkent International Financial Center, which is expected to become a hub for attracting investments, international companies, and developing modern financial services.
