The delivery service Wolt will cease operations in Uzbekistan from March 5 of this year. The company announced this in a statement on its official website.

Wolt began operations in the Uzbek market in October 2024. To conduct business in the country, the company Wolt Texnologiyalari was registered, owned by the Finnish Wolt Enterprises Oy.

The service was initially launched in Tashkent and started operating in Samarkand a year later. As of the end of June last year, the platform featured around 1,400 restaurants in the capital and over 200 stores.

Wolt is a Finnish technology company providing an online platform for ordering food and goods from restaurants and stores with home delivery or pickup options via a mobile app and website. The service operates in several countries across Europe and Central Asia.
