A new direct air route between Tashkent and Kazan will be launched on July 18, offering passengers a convenient non-stop travel option between the two cities.

The flights will operate twice a week: departures from Tashkent to Kazan on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and return flights on Mondays and Fridays. The flight duration is approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The route is being opened by Nordwind Airlines, expanding the network of international flights from Tashkent Airport. Currently, flights to Kazan are also operated by Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air, FlyOne Asia, and UVT Aero.

The new service is expected to strengthen transport and tourism ties between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan, providing more opportunities for travel, business meetings, and visits to relatives.

Earlier, reports emerged about the possible launch of direct flights between Tashkent and Baghdad.
