By a presidential decree, Umid Mamadaminov has been appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Energy, the ministry's press service reported.
Mamadaminov was born on January 24, 1983, in the Jomboy district of Samarkand region. He earned a bachelor's degree from Tashkent State Technical University in 2006 and graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology (USA) in 2015.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Deputy Minister.
Additionally, Umarjon Egamberdiyev has been appointed as Deputy Minister. He previously worked as a leading inspector in the presidential representative's office for energy security.
Minister Jorabek Mirzamakhmudov and Bakhtiyor Mamatkarimov.
Bakhtiyor Mamatkarimov, who had served as First Deputy Minister since March 29, 2024, is moving to another position, and the ministry expressed gratitude for his service.
