The famous 'Andijan Polka' dance has been officially entered into the Guinness World Records, the regional administration's press service announced.

The historic performance took place as part of events marking Andijan's designation as the 'Cultural Capital of the Turkic World — 2026'.

An official representative of Guinness World Records, who personally observed the event, confirmed that it fully met all established requirements.

The 'Andijan Polka' set a world record as the most widely performed national dance.

It is noted that this achievement will help promote national culture on the international stage and strengthen the prestige of the Uzbek school of dance worldwide.
