Uzbek track and field athlete Anvar Anvarov won an international tournament in Croatia, achieving a career-best jump of 8.29 meters. This leap set a new national record for Uzbekistan.
The previous national record also belonged to Anvarov. Last year at an international tournament in Finland, he jumped 8.25 meters, and now he has improved his own record by four centimeters.
Second place went to Serbia's Luka Bošković with a result of 8.23 meters. Jamaican athlete Tajay Gayle took bronze with a jump of 8.18 meters.
This victory continues a successful streak for Anvarov, who previously won the Folksam Grand Prix tournament in Switzerland.
