Abdukodir Khusanov, defender for the Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City, has been ranked 38th in Forbes' list of the 48 highest-paid players participating in the 2026 World Cup. His annual income is estimated at $6.2 million.
According to Forbes, $5 million of this comes from salary and football bonuses, while $1.2 million is from endorsement deals, sponsorship agreements, and commercial projects. Khusanov's partners include Puma, and he is also developing his own energy drink brand.
The list is topped by Cristiano Ronaldo with $280 million, followed by Lionel Messi ($130 million) and Kylian Mbappé ($95 million). Khusanov's Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland ranks fourth with $80 million.
Forbes calculated the total income of players over the past 12 months, including club salaries, bonuses, endorsements, licensing fees, and business income. All figures are before taxes and agent fees.
Additionally, Khusanov has been recognized as Asia's most valuable footballer, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €50 million.
