On May 27 at 18:34 local time, an earthquake struck Afghanistan, according to the Republican Center for Seismoprognotic Monitoring.
The earthquake had a magnitude of 6.8 at the epicenter and a depth of 224 kilometers. Its tremors were felt in several regions of Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that on June 24, a magnitude 4 earthquake was recorded in the city of Quvasoy, Fergana region. Its intensity was felt at 2 points in the Andijan region.
