President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited an exhibition of youth projects held at the Olympic Village in Tashkent to mark Youth Day. He reviewed developments by young Uzbek citizens and supported several promising initiatives.
Islombek Muhammadjonov, a youth leader from the “Obod” mahalla in Fergana district, presented his “Obod ta’lim” educational center, which has helped over 600 young people acquire modern professions and foreign languages. The center has entered the international market through cooperation with leading German companies.
The president paid special attention to environmental initiatives by Gulirano Mamirova, a master’s student at Green University, who develops “green” technologies and eco-startups.
Among the startups, the Makon AI platform by Asilbek Ashurov, a Presidential School graduate and University of Chicago student, stood out. The platform uses artificial intelligence to prepare for SAT and AP exams, has attracted $380,000 in investment, and is valued at $3 million.
Also highlighted was Sardorbek Rakhmatulloev, the first Uzbek representative in the prestigious Y Combinator accelerator. He founded a startup in the US and gained experience at Meta Superintelligence.
In culture and education, Sirojiddin Olimov, head of the “Mutolaa” project, reported that his mobile app has been downloaded nearly 5 million times, with users reading over 18 million books through it.
Following the meeting, President Mirziyoyev supported the presented projects and emphasized the importance of fostering talent and innovation.
