The Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency announced that as of July 1, revised maximum prices for nearly 2,500 prescription drugs have taken effect in pharmacies.
As a result, prices for certain categories of medicines have dropped significantly. Antibiotics and antimicrobials fell by up to 50%, cardiovascular drugs by up to 37%, nervous system drugs by up to 40%, and anti-inflammatory and painkillers by up to 42%.
Citizens can independently check the maximum prices for prescription drugs, compare them with actual prices, and submit complaints about violations via the website pharm.gov.uz or the PharmUz mobile app.
