Fido-Biznes has unveiled FB CardHub, a new modular platform for managing banks' card settlement operations. The first module ready for implementation is FB CardHub Clearing, which is currently undergoing a pilot deployment at Xalq Bank of Uzbekistan.
The solution allows banks to offload resource-intensive card clearing processing into a separate technological circuit, reducing the load on the core ABS (Automated Banking System) and ensuring 24/7 continuous processing while keeping the existing banking system as the primary accounting system.
In recent years, the banking sector has undergone a massive digital transformation. The development of remote services, mobile apps, digital payment services, marketplaces, acquiring, mass payments, and cashless settlements has dramatically changed the role of card infrastructure in banks. The card business is entering a new phase of load.
Previously, card systems served a limited set of operations under relatively predictable loads. Today, card services have become part of the daily digital economy. Transaction volumes have increased tenfold, the number of integrations with external and internal systems has grown, and customers increasingly expect banking services to be available 24/7.
Under these conditions, card clearing is no longer a supporting process. The timeliness of settlements, transparency of operations, and quality of customer service directly depend on its speed and stability.
FB CardHub Clearing is an automated solution for receiving and processing clearing and transaction files from processing centers, performing mutual settlements for card and terminal operations, reconciliation, monitoring processing results, and preparing accounting entries.
The module consolidates data processing for UZCARD, HUMO, and international payment card operations into a single technological circuit. For banks, this means a transition from fragmented processing schemes to a unified logic for card clearing processing, monitoring, and control.
The solution checks incoming files, monitors their integrity, detects duplicates, performs automatic transaction reconciliation, generates data for accounting reflection, and transmits it to the bank's existing ABS.
A key principle of FB CardHub Clearing is the separation of card processing from the banking core. Clearing files and transactions are processed in a separate technological circuit, while prepared data for accounting reflection is sent to the ABS.
During the pilot at Xalq Bank, bank specialists can track the lifecycle of each file and transaction—from data receipt to processing completion, reconciliation, and result transmission to the banking system.
Dilshod Sattarov, Director of the Clearing and Transit Accounts Analysis Department at Xalq Bank, stated: "It was important for us not just to automate file processing, but to get a unified platform where control, reconciliation, monitoring, and analysis processes are combined in one circuit."
Farida Dadajanova, General Director of Fido-Biznes, noted: "Card business has become massive, continuous, and technologically complex. We start with clearing because this circuit today experiences the highest load and directly impacts settlement speed, operational transparency, and card service stability."
Future FB CardHub architecture includes modules for card issuance, mass payments, salary projects, social accruals, and acquiring. All will be developed within a single technological circuit with a common architecture, integration approach, monitoring, and card process management logic.
