Residents in the Shaykhantakhur and Almazar districts of Tashkent are experiencing power supply interruptions. The outages were caused by an emergency shutdown at the Vystavochnaya substation.
Emergency crews are currently working to identify and repair the fault. At the same time, measures are being taken to switch consumers to backup power sources.
Energy workers have apologized to residents for the inconvenience caused.
It is worth recalling that earlier, more than 7,000 facilities in Tashkent were left without electricity due to a fire at the same Vystavochnaya substation. That outage affected 6,200 households, 807 legal entities, and 18 social facilities.
