The Competition Committee has imposed a financial fine on Anorbank JSC for violating advertising legislation, the press service of the committee reported.
According to the committee, based on a complaint from a resident of the Tashkent region, an advertisement posted by the bank on Instagram was investigated.
The complaint stated that the advertisement, announced as part of a promotion, did not provide full information about the terms of the promotion.
During the investigation, it was found that the advertisement lacked essential terms of the financial service agreement, including the procedure for the promotion, the established limit, and information about the commission applied when the limit is exceeded.
