A citizen of Uzbekistan and her young child, left without means of support after the deportation of the family's head, have been able to return to Tashkent with the assistance of the Consulate General in Vladivostok.
The woman had been temporarily residing in Primorsky Krai with her 3-year-old child, having joined her husband there in 2025. In June 2026, the man was detained for illegal labor activity and subsequently deported to Uzbekistan by court order.
Following this, the woman was left alone with the child, and her income was insufficient to cover housing, food, and other necessary expenses, plunging the family into severe financial hardship.
The consulate promptly engaged the Fund under the Migration Agency, which covered the cost of air tickets for the family on the Vladivostok-Tashkent flight. Diplomatic staff escorted the mother and child to the airport, from where they safely departed for Uzbekistan.
Earlier, Uzbek diplomats helped a compatriot reduce the cost of cancer treatment in China.
