Two Uzbekistani footballers, Sadriddin Khasanov and Sayfiddin Sodikov, have joined Portuguese club Braga, continuing their careers in Europe.
Winger Sadriddin Khasanov, previously with Tashkent's Bunyodkor, moved to Braga on loan with an option to buy.
"Braga is known worldwide, the club has a rich history. I want to adapt as quickly as possible, constantly improve, help the team, and achieve maximum results. There is a lot of work ahead, but this is the only path to success," Khasanov said.
The second newcomer is 18-year-old Sayfiddin Sodikov, who previously played for Andijan. He left the club after his loan agreement ended. During his time with Andijan, Sodikov debuted in the Super League and played 3 matches.
"I am glad to be part of a club like Braga. It is a great honor for me to represent Uzbekistan in Europe. I understand that to play for such a club, I need to work hard. My main goal is to grow, develop, and realize my potential," Sodikov said.
Braga plays in the top Portuguese football division and regularly participates in European cup competitions.
