Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with representatives of leading French companies. The delegation of investors was led by Claude Imoven, Chairman of the Uzbek-French Business Council under the international movement of French enterprises MEDEF International and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orano.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in several strategic areas. Key areas of interaction identified include energy, education, modernization of water supply systems, as well as the development of transport and urban infrastructure in Uzbekistan.
Mirziyoyeva emphasized that this meeting serves as an excellent continuation of the constructive dialogue that recently took place during her visit to France in a meeting with President Emmanuel Macron. Contacts at such a high level are intended to intensify practical partnership between the business circles of the two countries and facilitate the attraction of advanced French technologies into the republic's economy.
