President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the 1st International Forum 'Islamic Civilization'. This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of state expressed gratitude for the book 'The Highest Point of Brotherhood and Alliance' presented by the sheikh-ul-islam, dedicated to the joint efforts of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

During the conversation, issues of strengthening interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, enhancing the spiritual education of youth, and other matters were discussed.

The President of Uzbekistan put forward important proposals aimed at elevating bilateral cultural and educational cooperation to a new level.

The need to unite scientific potential for using digital platforms and interactive educational tools to explain the true humanistic essence of Islam to young people in a simple and engaging way was noted.

At the end of the meeting, the head of state awarded Allahshukur Pashazade the Uzbekistan Order 'El-yurt hurmati' for his enormous contribution to the science of the Muslim world.
