Major cases of illegal electricity use have been uncovered in the Kashkadarya region during inspection raids, Podrobno.uz reports.

In the Kasbi district, inspectors found that water pumps belonging to the U. M. farm were illegally connected to the public power grid. The damage to the state energy system amounted to 1.841 billion soums.

A similar violation was recorded in the Koson district, where water pumps owned by citizen M. Sh. operated bypassing metering devices. Experts estimated the damage at 2.428 billion soums. Inspection raids in the region are ongoing.
