Inspectors have discovered a number of violations at a multi-story residential building construction site in Tashkent's Sergeli district. Construction and installation work has been temporarily suspended, and some structures will have to be redone.
According to the Inspectorate for Control in the Sphere of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, inspectors also found quality violations in completed work. In several places, reinforced concrete structures deviated from design documentation and established requirements.
Storage rules for construction materials were not followed at the site. Additionally, the construction site and adjacent area were not cleared of flammable waste, which could have led to dangerous situations.
Following the inspection, all construction and installation work was halted. Those responsible were issued mandatory orders to eliminate violations. Sections built with deviations from the design began to be dismantled on site.
The inspectorate noted that enhanced control over construction sites in the capital will continue, and inspections will be conducted further. Earlier, inspectors found unacceptable violations in the installation of reinforced concrete structures at a construction site in Tashkent's Uchtepa district.
