Tashkent, Uzbekistan – AN Podrobno.uz. Over 10,000 public schools in Uzbekistan will be able to use the Canva for Education platform for free, integrating modern digital tools into the learning process.
According to the Dunyo news agency, the agreement with Australian company Canva was signed during a visit by a delegation from the Ministry of Preschool and School Education to France. The document stipulates that all public general education schools in Uzbekistan can use Canva for Education free of charge for three years.
Additionally, during the visit, an agreement was signed with French publisher Hachette Livre to expand the supply of French language textbooks.
Discussions also included the opening of a regional center for French language training in Tashkent and the creation of a joint Uzbek-French teacher training center.
Earlier, it was reported that Tashkent plans to build new-format schools capable of accommodating twice as many students, as well as create artificial lakes, improve canals, and expand green areas.
