In 2024, large-scale works have been launched on Taras Shevchenko Street in the Mirabad district of Tashkent to transform the area into a modern tourist zone.
According to the press service of the district administration, the 3rd stage of construction and reconstruction works has begun as part of a project to create modern infrastructure and a comfortable environment for residents and guests of the capital.
Specifically, the works cover a section about 400 meters long — from the intersection of Taras Shevchenko and Fidokor streets to the intersection of Taras Shevchenko and Shahrisabz streets.
In accordance with the approved plan, dismantling works are underway and preparations are being made for the start of concreting.
Completion of the construction and reconstruction works is planned by the end of this year.
