The international search for Uzbek businessman Ravshan Mukhitdinov, who resides in Turkey, has been canceled. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that after investigative actions, his guilt was not confirmed.
The name of 37-year-old Mukhitdinov appeared on Interpol's website in April. At a briefing, the MIA explained why the international search was canceled.
Deputy Head of the Tashkent City Police Department Dilmurod Mirsodikov stated that Mukhitdinov's guilt was not confirmed. "In 2021, a criminal case was opened on this fact, and a search was announced for 'Ravshan the Golden.' After the statute of limitations expired, part of the criminal case against him was terminated.
Following a series of investigative actions, additional statements were received, and search activities were intensified. After all investigative actions were completed, his guilt was not confirmed, and the search activities were canceled," Mirsodikov said.
Mukhitdinov's name appeared on Interpol's 'red notice' list in April. He was accused of intentional destruction or damage of property, creating an organized armed group, leading or participating in it, as well as hooliganism.
