According to the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan, three individuals who were on the international wanted list have been returned to the country from Turkey. These persons had been sought globally for a long time.
The extradition process was carried out in cooperation between the Interpol National Central Bureau, Turkish law enforcement agencies, and the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul. This collaboration is crucial in the fight against transnational crime.
It is reported that the detainees were captured in Istanbul, where they were hiding. Details of their identities and the reasons for their wanted status have not been disclosed, but all were on the international wanted list.
The detainees were brought to Uzbekistan in accordance with established procedures and handed over to the relevant law enforcement authorities. They will now be held accountable under Uzbek law.
