According to Uzgidromet, the average monthly temperature in August is expected to be close to the long-term average values.
The month will begin with dry and hot weather. On August 1-2, air temperatures will reach +38…+41°C, and in the south and desert areas, the air will warm up to +42…+43°C.
Subsequently, the temperature background will drop by 3-5 degrees, and the prevailing air temperature is expected to be within +33…+38°C, locally up to +40°C.
Towards the end of the month, cool air may enter Uzbekistan, with temperatures gradually decreasing to +25…+30°C.
Prevailing nighttime temperatures in the first half of August will be +24…+27°C, in the second half +17…+22°C, and by the end of the month, it may drop to +12…+15°C.
Monthly precipitation is expected to be slightly above normal. Short-term rains, mostly light, are possible on some days in the second half of the month.
