Starting this year, 11th-grade graduates with disabilities can enroll in special technical schools and acquire modern professions that will help them begin independent work. The educational institutions have been opened in Samarkand, Fergana, and Tashkent.

A total of 660 places are available for applicants across 37 fields. Students can gain in-demand specialties ranging from IT and design to culinary arts, jewelry making, sewing, hairdressing, electric vehicle maintenance, and media work. Training will be conducted in person.

The application process began on August 10 and will last until September 10. Applications can be submitted online through the my.edu.uz platform.

Young people with disabilities can enter special technical schools if they have a relevant certificate confirmed by the medical-social expert commission.

Detailed information about available professions and admission conditions is available on the kasbedu.uz platform.

Additionally, starting from the 2027/2028 academic year, applicants with disabilities will be granted extra time when taking entrance exams to higher education institutions. This will amount to 50% of the established exam duration.
