According to the State Labor Inspectorate, 529 work-related accidents were recorded across the republic in January-July.

Of these, 24 were group accidents, 372 had severe consequences, and 132 were fatal. In total, 580 people were affected: 402 suffered severe injuries, 22 minor injuries, and 146 died.

The highest number of accidents occurred in industry (168) and construction (159). Trade and services accounted for 22, transport and logistics 20, healthcare 16, agriculture and water management 15, and education 14.

Regionally, Tashkent city leads with 95 cases, followed by Tashkent region (58), Kashkadarya (38), Bukhara (34), Andijan and Samarkand (33 each), and Navoi (31).

As a result, 11.379 billion soums were collected in one-time and monthly compensation payments for damages.
