Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. The departure of a Fly Khiva charter flight from Termez to Medina, initially scheduled for the night of August 12-13, has been postponed twice. Nearly 200 passengers have been waiting for over a day.

According to the press service of Uzbekistan Airports, the flight was originally set to depart on the night of August 12-13. Later, the airline rescheduled it to the night of August 13-14.

As a result, 189 passengers are now stranded in Termez. Due to the schedule change, they were rebooked on a charter flight to Tashkent, which was supposed to leave at 09:00. However, that flight was also canceled for technical reasons.

Termez Airport stated that all necessary services are operational and providing assistance to passengers within their authority.

Passengers are advised to check the new departure time and travel arrangements with Fly Khiva representatives or the airline's official website.

Earlier, a Centrum Air passenger plane was struck by lightning while operating a regular flight from Tashkent to Guangzhou. For safety, the damaged aircraft was grounded and sent to a technical hangar, delaying the return flight to Tashkent by almost two days.
