In the Orta Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, a road accident occurred when a Cobalt car veered off the road and plunged into a canal on the left side. The driver lost control, and the vehicle sank into the water. Fortunately, a traffic patrol officer, Otabek Hakimov, was on duty nearby and witnessed the incident.

According to Hakimov, he saw the Cobalt suddenly lose control and crash into the canal. Without hesitation, he stopped his vehicle and rushed to the scene to provide assistance. The officer jumped into the water and managed to pull the drowning woman to safety, bringing her to the shore.

“After bringing her to the shore, we placed the woman in a Tracker vehicle and sent her to the hospital for first aid,” Hakimov said. The rescued woman was taken to a medical facility, where she is reportedly in stable condition under doctors' supervision.

The Cobalt car was also recovered from the canal. The exact date of the incident has not been disclosed, but the regional traffic safety department confirmed the event and provided details to the press.

This incident follows a similar rescue earlier in Tashkent, where a 13-year-old boy was saved from drowning in the Burjar canal. In that case, a patrol inspector and a civilian helped pull the child from the water. These events underscore the importance of road safety and vigilance, especially near waterways.
