Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. The cost of differentiated paid contracts for the 2026/2027 academic year at some universities in Uzbekistan has exceeded 200 million soums. The highest amount so far has been set at Tashkent State University of Law — nearly 270 million soums for one year of full-time bachelor's studies.

The super-contract is intended for applicants who scored at least 56.7 points but failed to secure a regular contract due to missing the required passing score. The exact amount depends on the chosen field, form of study, and the number of missing points.

At Tashkent State University of Law, the annual super-contract for full-time bachelor's studies is approximately 269 million 960 thousand soums. For the three-year evening bachelor's program, the annual cost is set at 132 million 100 thousand soums. Full-time master's studies will cost 122 million soums, while evening studies will cost 97 million 600 thousand soums.

At Namangan State University, amounts vary significantly by field. For full-time studies, they range from 26 million 932 thousand 500 soums to 122 million 620 thousand soums. For evening and distance learning, the cost ranges from 31 million 384 thousand 500 soums to 128 million 560 thousand soums. For the fields of "General Medicine," "Pediatrics," and "Advanced Nursing," the super-contract is set at 114 million 120 thousand soums for full-time study.

At Tashkent University of Information Technologies, there is a more detailed gradation based on score shortfall. If an applicant misses the passing score by up to 1.05 points, the super-contract is 1.5 times the base contract — from 18 million 150 thousand to 24 million 750 thousand soums. For a shortfall of 3.06 to 4.05 points, the cost rises to 36 million 300 thousand – 49 million 500 thousand soums. For distance learning, amounts range from 23 million 100 thousand to 59 million 400 thousand soums.

At Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, the super-contract for full-time and evening departments is set between 22 million 940 thousand and 31 million 905 thousand soums.

At the Yangiyer branch of Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, the cost ranges from 22 million 200 thousand to 48 million 120 thousand soums, depending on the field and form of study.

At Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages, the cost ranges from 29 million 600 thousand to 47 million 220 thousand soums. Depending on the field, amounts are set as four or five base contracts.

Andijan State University has set a range of four to six base contracts. However, the final base tuition cost had not been fully approved at the time of publication. The university noted that the maximum super-contract amount has been gradually reduced: previously it reached ten times the base contract, then was cut to eight, and now to six.

Importantly, the super-contract is paid only for the first academic year. To enroll, an applicant must pay at least 50% of the set amount. After successfully completing the first year, the student continues their studies under the general procedure and pays the regular contract.

Currently, only a few universities have published super-contract fees. Uzbekistan has 215 higher education institutions, with about 1.6 million students enrolled.
