In Tashkent, 22 road traffic accidents were recorded over the course of September 4. As a result, four people sustained severe injuries and were hospitalized.
According to the Traffic Management Center, 1,502,057 vehicles traveled through the city during the day. A total of 4,751 traffic violations were registered.
Public transport carried 1,228,158 passengers, while the metro served 862,053 people. During peak hours, congestion at six intersections reached seven points, and at one intersection it exceeded that level.
To stabilize traffic flow, traffic light timings were adjusted, with green light durations extended. Traffic police officers were dispatched to problematic sections.
The situation center monitors traffic flow in real time. These measures aim to prevent congestion and ensure road safety.
Earlier, in the Akhangaran district of the Tashkent region, a passenger bus Isuzu overturned after colliding with a Lacetti. Three people involved in the accident were taken to the hospital.
