According to the National Statistics Committee, the volume of healthcare services provided in Uzbekistan in January-July 2026 amounted to almost 13.9 trillion soums.

This figure increased by 15.3% compared to the same period last year, indicating a growing demand for medical services and increased attention to public health.

Hospital institutions accounted for 31.2% of the total volume of healthcare services, medical practice and dental services for 14%, and other healthcare services for 54.8%.

The highest volume of healthcare services was recorded in Tashkent city (6.4 trillion soums), Tashkent region (1.4 trillion soums), and Samarkand region (1 trillion soums). The lowest volumes were in Navoi (233.6 billion soums), Syrdarya (242.4 billion soums), and Jizzakh (307 billion soums) regions.

Volumes in other regions: Fergana region — 816.3 billion soums; Namangan — 661.6 billion soums; Andijan — 617.0 billion soums; Bukhara — 468.6 billion soums; Khorezm — 465.4 billion soums; Kashkadarya — 431.5 billion soums; Republic of Karakalpakstan — 399.3 billion soums; Surkhandarya — 329.4 billion soums.

Analysts note that despite overall growth, significant regional disparities persist, highlighting the need for further development of local medical infrastructure.
