Starting next year, medical, pharmaceutical, and pedagogical workers in Uzbekistan will receive monthly bonuses, according to a presidential decree "On measures to radically improve the system of personnel training in the field of medicine and pharmacy." The move aims to strengthen financial incentives for industry workers.

Under the document, bonuses are set as additions to the base tariff rate or official salary, intended to boost the real incomes of medical workers.

The bonus amounts are as follows: for nurses with a bachelor's degree — 1 minimum wage (1,360,000 soums); for nurses with a master's degree — 2 minimum wages (2,720,000 soums); for family doctors who completed residency in family medicine, as well as pedagogical staff with a master's degree in this field — 4 minimum wages (5,440,000 soums).

This measure is aimed at improving the qualifications of medical personnel and supporting them, especially providing a significant financial incentive for family doctors and highly qualified nurses.

Recall that the decree also envisages improving the medical education system and aligning it with international standards. This is expected to lead to an improvement in the quality of medical services in the future.
